Makoto Nagaoka, PhD is Senior Director, Regulatory Affairs and Head of Regulatory Affairs, Japan at Fortrea. With more than 20 years of experience in regulatory strategy, clinical development, and regulatory science, he advises biopharma companies on navigating Japan's regulatory landscape and advancing innovative therapies from development through approval. Dr. Nagaoka holds BS, MSc, and PhD degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Kyoto University and is a licensed pharmacist in Japan
